Empty Bowls Event

An Empty Bowls Event is a one day event in which hundreds of bowls and related artwork created and donated by students and artists are displayed for sale. The public invited to the event will pay a fee of (around 15 dollars) at the door, choose one of the pottery bowls, and proceed to the next station. There they will have their bowl filled with soup and have some bread. Together we will all sit and enjoy our soup. The Empty Bowl later serves as a reminder that somewhere someone goes without.
