​    I expose a sense of whimsy and unexpected dream-like feelings in my work, combining history, nature, and subliminal social messages. It’s a message of hope and continuance. Completely mesmerized by nature and nature’s colors and textures, I am instinctively drawn to clay as the natural medium with which to tell my story. So, inspired by nature, with the help of clay and paint, I weave stories of my ancestors and the effects of the world around me in my practice.
